Pet vaccine clinic set for Oct. 22

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (spcaLA) reminds pet owners to keep rabies vaccines up to date for the health and safety of their pets. spcaLA is hosting a Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic Saturday, Oct. 22 in Plummer Park in the City of West Hollywood. Rabies vaccines will be offered for $7.

County of Los Angeles Public Health reports that 32 rabid bats have been found in Los Angeles County as of September 27, 2016. Fifty-six percent of them were found at private residences.

The Saturday Oct. 22 clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Community Center of Plummer Park located at 7377 Santa Monica Blvd., West Hollywood, CA. spcaLA offers low cost clinics routinely throughout the year.

Clinic Prices- Rabies: $7; Bordetella: $10; FVRCP: $15; FeLV: $15; DA2PPV: $15; De-worming: $15-25; Microchipping: $25 (does not include registration).

Pets must be leashed or in a pet carrier. Cash, debit and credit cards accepted. Bring medical records if available.
