Malibu Country Mart practices a green thumb Lori Fusaro | Fri, Apr 27 2012 07:53 PM

The Malibu County Mart is leading the trend in Malibu in eco-friendly practices. The mart encompasses six acres in the heart of Malibu.  They have incorporated a free electric car charging station and a chemical-free sandbox in the children’s playground.

World-class gardens, unique sculptures, picnic areas, and the popular children’s playground compliment the structures. It is the first commercial property to participate in the Geo Green Biofuels Program.

Kolletti Bambini is a boutique specializing in designer clothing and accessories for children and infants and has an extensive line of organic clothing.

“We are thrilled to be a part of Malibu Country Mart,” said Kolletti Bambini owner Mina Barin. “I have been a long-time visitor to the Mart and believe its charming atmosphere are the perfect home for our children’s specialty boutique.”

Michael Koss, General Partner of the Malibu Country Mart said,  “We continually seek out opportunities to work with local business owners and are excited to continue to support their endeavors.”
