“Made in Culver City,” the Culver City Redevelopment Agency’s free film program, will feature “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” on Sept. 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the courtyard of City Hall.
The movie is based on Robert Louis Stevenson’s tale of a 19th century scientist’s investigation into the nature of good and evil. Although set in London, it was filmed entirely in Culver City’s Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios. This year marks the 70th anniversary of its release.
Celebrating classic films created in “The Heart of Screenland,” the program is sponsored by Sony Pictures Entertainment. No reservations are necessary. For more information, go to culvercity.org or call (310) 253-5716.
