Students preparing for Culver City Sister City Committee, Inc.’s student exchange to Kaizuka, Japan were treated to a special presentation by Julie Lugo Cerra of the Culver City Historical Society last week. The students were enlightened about the City’s early history and also were given an update on the current city government. The students will have chance to express their pride in a speech to the new Mayor Fujihara in Kaizuka during their stay from July 22 – Aug. 1.
