On Wednesday, the Culver City Police Department will conduct a drivers license checkpoint from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the 4000 block of Centinela Avenue. From 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., the checkpoint will be held in the 3900 block of La Cienega Avenue.

Californians and Angelinos should be outraged by this thinly veiled form of extortion. The state is broke so confiscating and auctioning cars from drivers who normally wouldn't have been pulled over? Pathetic.
