Pair skaters Cecilia and William Wright, add a fellow figure skater, Elizabeth Addas, to their Pas de Troix in The Nutcracker. On Saturday, Dec. 11 and Sunday, Dec. 12, the three skaters from Culver Ice Arena will dance in the Christmas classic with the Marat Daukayev School of Ballet.
Cecilia is featured as the Puppet Princess and William is the Harlequin on Saturday night at The Japan American Theatre. Elizabeth says she is excited to finally dance the role of the Columbine doll - she has already skated to the music in her competition program.
The three dancers skate at Culver Ice Arena every morning before school. They see each other at the ballet studio every afternoon and weekends for rehearsals of The Nutcracker and say they feel fortunate to be able to perform on the stage and on the ice.
