Culver City to be featured on TV Tonight | Thu, Sep 23 2010 01:19 PM

The suspense is over. Tonight, Thursday, Sept. 23, Huell Howser will feature Culver City landmarks on California’s Gold at 7:30 p.m. on public TV station KCET.

Howser met with News columnist and city historian Julie Lugo Cerra and toured several city landmarks, including the Veterans Memorial Building and its impressive tower. He also visited the Culver City Historical Society’s Archive and Resource Center, where Costume Curator Louise Coffee-Webb familiarized Howe with some of the city’s MGM costume collection. Howser and his crew also stopped by the Culver Hotel and discussed the building’s illustrious history with general manager Douglas Netwon.

The episode will re-air Friday, Oct. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
