Angela Gibson, area manager for AT&T, was recently voted chair of the Culver City Chamber of Commerce. Gibson, a member of the Culver City Chamber Board for six years, has served as chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee and vice chair of the board of directors. The now chair-elect of the Chamber has led the chamber membership retention to an all-time record high in revenue.
Joining Gibson on the executive committee will be Goran Eriksson (esi Techtrans, Inc.) as chair-elect. Current chair, Jeff Haas (Haas Entertainment), will step down to become immediate past chair. Michael Hamill (Grandview National Investment Bank) will be vice chair-CFO. Kevin Lachoff (Grubb & Ellis Company), Chuck Martinez (Westfield Culver City), Elena Sweda Neff (P3 HR Inc.) and Scott Wyant (Scott Wyant, Information Systems Analysis & Design) will serve as vice chairs of the board.
Newly elected board members include David Church (David Church State Farm Insurance), Earl Trusty (Ferrufino Interiors), Bill Reider (Radisson Hotel- Los Angeles, Westside), Ronnie Jayne (Ronnie Jayne Music & A Song for You Productions), Ed Wolkowitz (attorney at law), Warren Moore (Automobile Club of Southern California) and John Arenson (Anderson Plywood Sales).
The annual installation of officers luncheon will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton at 11:30 a.m., Jan. 14. Reservations can be made by calling the Culver City Chamber Office at 310-287-3850.
