Culver City will play host to the seventh annual “Cruisin’ Back to the Fifties” classic car and hot rod show Saturday, May 8 in downtown Culver City.
The event, co--sponsored by the Exchange Club of Culver City and car customizer George Barris — the creator of legendary Hollywood cars such as the Batmobile and Beverly Hillbillies Jalopy — will exhibit 70 years of American roadsters, street rods and muscle cars. The show starts at 9 a.m. with a “Caravan of Classic Cruisers” led by this year’s Grand Marshall, actor Joe Mantegna, a longtime classic car enthusiast.
The show will also feature live music, dozens of themed vendors and a silent auction to support the Exchange Club’s children’s charities.
Vehicle entry applications for car exhibitors are available online at www.culvercitycarshow.com and will be accepted prior to 8 a.m. on the day of the show at the Culver City National Guard Armory, located at 10808 Culver Blvd.
