A home caught fire when a blanket reportedly fell on a heater and ignited, authorities said.

The blaze occurred in the 3300 block of Livonia Avenue, near National Boulevard and the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in the South Robertson neighborhood just north of Culver City about 1 a.m. last Thursday.

Los Angeles firefighters arrived within five minutes and had the fire out about 10 minutes later.

There were no injuries.
