ArcLight Culver City gets majority of Film Fest screenings

The L.A. Film Festival, produced by Film Independent, the nonprofit arts organization that also produces the Film Independent Spirit Awards, this week announced its sponsors for the 2016 Festival.

The Festival runs June 1-9 at the ArcLight Cinemas. Individual tickets and passes are on sale now; visitwww.lafilmfest.com for more details. Returning to the Festival as Premier Sponsor is Peroni Nastro Azzurro.

Jaeger-LeCoultre has returned to the Festival as the Principal Sponsor for a third year. Returning Platinum Sponsors include American Airlines, Dolby Laboratories, Inc., EFILM | Company 3 and HBO. Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television returns as the University Sponsor.

Festival Supporter-level sponsors include Directors Guild of America, The Los Angeles Athletic Club, Montana Film Office and SmartSource Rentals.

For the 11th year, the Los Angeles Times will serve as the Festival’s Presenting Media Sponsor. The Pulitzer Prize-winning Los Angeles For the first year, ArcLight Cinemas is the host venue of L.A. Film Festival. Majority of screenings will take place at ArcLight Culver City with select screenings at ArcLight Cinemas’ Cinerama Dome in Hollywood.

ArcLight Culver City is a state-of-the-art theater with digital projection in all 12 auditoriums. The Cinerama Dome seats over 800 guests and features an 86 foot-wide screen. Jaeger-LeCoultre returns to the L.A.
