Vehicles targeted during different criminal acts

Vandalism

On Feb. 12 at 11:45 a.m., a victim called the police department to report her 1996 Saab had been vandalized. The victim said she locked and secured her vehicle in the 6100 block of Buckingham Parkway on Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m. When she returned on February 12 at 7:30 a.m. and discovered her vehicle’s front passenger window had been broken out.

Robbery

On Feb. 13 officers responded to the 5900 block of Buckingham Parkway regarding a robbery investigation. The officers met with both victims who told them the following; at 2:55 a.m. they arrived at their residence and when they exited their car a suspect appeared and demanded their property. The suspect also displayed a handgun and demanded their property. Fearing for their safety they gave the suspect their property. The suspect then fled the location. The suspect was described as a male Black, 19-22 years of age, 6’0 to 6’2 tall, thin build and wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.

Stolen Vehicle

On Feb. 16 officers responded to the 6000 block of Sepulveda Boulevard regarding a stolen vehicle investigation. The officers met the victim who told them the following; she parked and locked her 1999 Honda at 3 p.m. When she returned at 7 p.m. her car was missing.

Car Burglary

On Feb. 17 a victim called the police department to report her car had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her 1999 Honda in the 5900 block of Buckingham Parkway on Feb. 10 at 6:30 p.m. When she returned on Feb. 16 she went to her car and discovered the doors opened and her property missing.
