Police respond to battery call involving a couple

Residential Burglary

On March 4 at 9:05 p.m., officers responded to the 3900 block of Lenawee Avenue regarding a burglary investigation. The officers met with the victim who told them the following; she left her residence locked and secured at 6:45 a.m. When she returned at 9 p.m. She discovered her front door unlocked and her property missing.

Battery

On March 4 at 9:33 a.m. officers responded to the 13400 block of Washington Boulevard regarding a battery investigation. The officers met the victim who told them the following; she and her husband argued over some legal papers. At some point the suspect grabbed the victim and pushed her to the ground. He then fled the location.

Theft of Bicycle

On March 3 at 10:45 a.m. a victim called the police department to report his Trek bicycle had been stolen. The victim said he locked and secured his bicycle in the 13400 block of Washington Boulevard on March 3 at 2:30 p.m. When he returned the next day his bicycle was missing.

Car Burglary

On March 9 at 9:30 a.m. a victim called the police department to report her 1990 Toyota had been burglarized. The victim said she parked and locked her car in the 3800 block of Girard Avenue on March 8 at 1:30 p.m. When she returned the next day she discovered her driver’s door unlocked and her property missing.
